Chris Wrenn is the founder and CEO of two long-standing Boston-area-based brands: Bridge Nine Records and Sully's. Started when Chris was 19 years old, Bridge Nine is a punk-music-oriented record label that has released over 300 recordings with artists like Dropkick Murphys, New Found Glory, Have Heart, and many others. His first business, Chris quickly learned that running a record label was expensive, and his record store paycheck wasn't enough to kickstart a band's career. So at the start of the 2000 baseball season, Chris went to Fenway Park to peddle sports rivalry merchandise in the streets—and made A LOT of money. He realized he'd stumbled upon a better business than releasing records, and so Sully's Brand was born. Decades later, both brands continue to evolve. Chris Wrenn shows that thinking outside of the box can lead to incredible opportunities—and hundreds of thousands of mail-order packages to customers worldwide.
